Audax rides

I joined the Audax Australia cycling club (Queensland Branch) in November 2012, the start of the 2012-13 season. Here’s my Audax history.

2014

1. 18 January 2014 – Esk at Night (300km Audax road ride – completed in 15:40)
2. 11 January 2014 – Wet & Woolly (200km Audax road ride – completed in 9:29)
3. 1 January 2014 – 11 out of Eleven (100km Audax road ride – completed in 4:36)

2013

1. 14 December 2013 – Secret Santa (50km Audax road ride – completed in 2:20)
2. 8 December 2013 – UrBAYn Assault (200km Audax road ride – completed in 8:59)
3. 9 November 2013 – City Super Cycle 1 (200km Audax road cycle – 9:56 solo on a hot day with seemingly constant headwinds)
4. 2 November 2013 – Waters Edge Wander (50km Audax road cycle – 2:22.46 – we rode as a group for this ride)
5. 25 May 2013 – Traveling South Audax Ride, Lowood (400km Audax ride – DNF at 160km)
6. 13 April 2013 – Lumpy 2 Audax Road Cycle, Brisbane (200km hilly road cycle – I finished in 12:30, an hour before cut off)
7. 16-17 March 2013 – Fleche Opperman 24 hour team cycling challenge, Ipswich (Our team of 5 cyclists completed 366km in the allowable 24 hours)
8. 12th January 2013 – Moonlight Wander, Esk (200km Audax Australia night road cycle – I completed the ride in 9:45, which was well within the 13:30 time limit)
9. 1 January 2013 – 11 out of Eleven, Brisbane (100km BA Audax Australia road cycle – I completed the ride in 5:15, which was within the 6:30 time limit)
