We’ve created our topographic track maps. We have identified our transition areas. We know where we’re sending our friends to do their trekking and biking. We’ve decided on where we’re going to put the checkpoints.
This morning we finally started putting everything together by going out and marking up the topographic map with the checkpoint locations for part of the trek leg for our Bayview Bash AR training day. It was time consuming but fun. Hopefully our own navigation skills are good because we’d hate to have made any significant mistakes.
In other news, we’ve finally had some rain so the dust has been washed off all the trees and plants, leaving the whole bush a luscious green.
Total: 18.0km mountain bike (that gives nothing away because only part of it was on the trek leg).
